1. Why did you start working at TENRYU-KOHSEIKAI?

Through EPA program, I was selected as one of the candidates for caregiver who will have the chance to work in Japan. During our interview session with different companies Tenryu Kohseikai was the first who had captured my attention. Their smiles on their faces, approachable words, the distance from the house to workplace was seemed convenient and what attracts me the most was how their Filipino Employee promote the merits of the company.

2. What is worthwhile about your job?

Nothing worthwhile comes easy. There is never an east job, but seeing the people I gave care to, smile and saying just a simple “Thank you” gives a big impact to me. It gives me more courage to work harder and teaches me to love my work more.

3. What is your goal for the future?

In all honesty, I always dreamed of becoming a successful nurse. When I entered this organization (EPA) I thought of becoming and pursuing my career field as a nurse. Despite of not getting the position I want, I was still excited and thankful for the opportunity I had. I may not know what my future may bring to me but one thing I am sure of, is that I am happy. Happy working here while learning new things in my everyday needs. I always love giving care to people and showing gratitude to the company and to people I am working with by giving all my best in my work. So I think even in my future I would still love to work here while running a small business in my homeland Philippines and settle a life here if given a chance.

1. Why did you start working at TENRYU-KOHSEIKAI?

I know it’s a big responsibility and adjustment to work this kind of job. But the reason I started to work at Tenryu Kohseikai is to expand my knowledge, not just to learn the Japanese word but because I also want to learn how to get along and communicate to the elderly with disabilities and dementia in this type of work I know I can use what I have learned as well.

2. What is worthwhile about your job?

When you see the smile on their faces, and some elderly appreciate on what you are doing to them and they say something nice to you it feels so good, so worth the effort.

3. What is your goal for the future?

For now I’m enjoying what I’m doing and my goal is to improve my job as a care worker and to have a license as a caregiver in the future.
